All manuscripts submitted to ABSU Journals must be original work.
- Proper acknowledgment of sources is mandatory.
- Authors are responsible for ensuring the authenticity of their submissions.
4. Plagiarism Screening Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening using recognized detection tools (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate).
- Acceptable Similarity Threshold:≤ 20% overall similarity index.
- No single source should exceed 3–5% similarity.
- Exclusions include references, methodological standard descriptions, and common phrases.
5. Types of Plagiarism
The journal classifies plagiarism into three categories with corresponding actions.
- Minor Plagiarism:Small unattributed phrases or sentences; poor paraphrasing. Action: Manuscript returned for correction.
- Moderate Plagiarism:Significant unattributed sections; improper citation practices. Action: Manuscript rejected; author required to revise before resubmission.
- Severe Plagiarism:Extensive copying, data or idea theft, or duplicate publication. Action: Immediate rejection, blacklisting (up to permanent), and notification to affiliated institution.
6. Self-Plagiarism Policy
Authors must not reuse previously published work without disclosure. Overlap with prior publications must be clearly cited and scientifically justified.
